Join us for the most exciting weekend in the Essex food calendar

Welcome to the 2013 Essex Festival of Food and Drink.

Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July

10am - 5pm both days

Adnams is proud to be the main sponsor of the Essex Festival of Food and Drink for 2013

The festival has quickly become loved not only by local people but visitors from outside of the county where we all enjoy meeting food producers, brewers, winemakers and chefs dedicated to fostering, preserving and displaying the very best in food and drink.

The festival is ALL about food and drink - tasting, learning, participating, sampling and soaking up the atmosphere. Your entry ticket gets you in to ALL areas of the festival including "Three" cookery theatres where you can watch, taste and learn from the experts. You might even want to volunteer for one of the "hands on" experiences in the Master Class cookery theatre sponsored by Chelmsford College. The Kids cookery classes are also free but you have to register your children as soon as you arrive to ensure you don't miss out.

Mark runs the hugely successful Baumanns Brasserie and is an aclaimed British Master Chef

There is never a dull moment with Mark -he is a great chef and entertainer

He cooks with flair and imagination and you can look forward to learning how to cook some new dishes using local seasonal produce.

We have a huge selection of producers from Essex and all over East Anglia with a smattering of outstanding producers from outside of the county. Check them out under the "Exhibitors" tab. They have a fantastic knowledge of their produce and love to talk about how it is made and where their ingredients are sourced from. Their knowledge will blow you away! We will keep adding to the list of exhibitors right up until the festival weekend.

Sorry, no dogs will be allowed in the festival except for guide dogs.
